Not what i was expecting, but I guess that's because I was clicking around on purses and didn't read the full description when I landed on this. I thought it was a fabric bag. It is actually sort of a slick material like a rain jacket. It is also bigger than I thought, again my fault because they actually list the dimensions. It is a big big for me to carry as a purse, but I'm going on a trip soon and it will be a lovely backpack for that. My hand i the pic for size reference. Very pretty design and feels very sturdy. I'm guessing it would also be ok if we get caught out in the rain based on the fabric. It should be good for travel because the main pocket zipper would be against your back, so hard to pick pocket. Not what I thought in my head I was getting, but happy accident it will be a good bag to hold more on trips. Love all the zipper pocket options and the anti-theft part is just a large pocket that is hidden while being worn because it is against the back rather than on top or front of the bag. You can also use a small lock with key/combination on the side pockets for extra security because there are 2 zippers that separate to open the pockets.
