I stopped when I hit 60 pounds loaded into the internal sack. Not sure if I could have gotten those last 6 pounds in there. I got one end of the sack inserted into the outer bag, and then had to do a series of squishes to move as much sand down into the lower half so that the top half could finally make it into the outer bag's opening. It was a struggle, but I just looked at it like it's the first workout you'll get using the bag :)As far as using it, I love how there's handles all over the outside. So many ways to grip it.
