Those are yummy things like "hatchery by-products" (15% of eggs don't hatch), egg shells, "inedible liquid egg" (eggs that can't be sold for one reason or another), and various other things that don't find a human market. The second item on the ingredient list is "chicken meal", which is parts of the chicken that have been rendered, dried, and ground up, including chicken meat, flesh, skin, and bone. Chicken meal does not contain feathers, heads, feet, or intestinal contents. If it said "chicken", then it would be exclusively chicken meat and skin. I feed my dog the Chicken and Rice version, which lists "chicken" and "chicken meal" as the first two ingredients.
