I found studs to mount mine so I did not nee the kit but you would need to make sure using this mounting kit to not be near a stud or it will not go in the wall behind your surface **Q: Does this model come with the hollow wall anchors as shown in the installation video?** A: No it does not. The anchors are usually $10-$11 each and are available through Amazon. They are also available at Lowes. Of course two of these are required for each grab bar. I must say that the anchors are a very good mounting system (In my opinion). **Q: How high do you mount this for getting off the toilet?** A: For me, just a couple inches above my arm when bent at the elbow while sitting on the toilet. They look nice and are very sturdy. We had no problems with installation. One is placed vertically outside the shower and we use it all the time- it has been more helpful than we expected. The second one we placed diagonally on the back wall of the shower so that it can be reached if you have fallen- the only problem with this is that the finishing cap on the bottom tends to pop up because of the angle so that you have to push it back in place but that is not a big problem at all. The photo in the listing shows a warm-tone brushed nickel (like the Kohler brushed nickel color) but in real life it’s a pure stainless steel color. The difference between the Moen color brushed nickel and the Kohler color brushed nickel is almost imperceptible.
