I find fault with most reels I use. Im really really hard on my stuff. I cast as far as I can and they ride in my boat floor getting banged up. So far this reel hasn't had any issues and is my favorite to cast. It casts far with 30lb mono. I have been running two of them for 3 months now and bought another two. Me and other guides are running a different Piscfun bait caster for the big 100lb paddlefish. We use 100lb braid on those and catch multiple fish in the 40 to 100lb range every day. So far those reels are holding up great as well. I just don't understand the brand name Piscfun?? Really??? I had recently purchased abu garcia 6500 c3 and 6600 c4 aswell. I must say the piscifun impressed me the most. It's also the first time that I have braid on a round baitcasting reel and am very impressed with the casting there off as I was very scared for overwinds. But it really casts well with the braid. As I want to target big catfish I am definitely looking at changing the 18 pound mono Double X extreme abrasion line on my abu ' to braid but will first see if the 18 pounds will suffice. **Q: What’s the max braided line i can put on my 60? Target fish is alligator gar and cats.** A: With the small diameter that some braided lines are, you could put 50-60 lb. test and that should hold any big cat or gar that you hook up with. I personally use 40 lb. test on my reels and that will hold big cats if you let your drag work for you if needed.
