The manufacturing process uses heat, magnetism and alkaline compounds but in the correct order and correct timing which removes hydrogen (creating a hydroxide); the alkaline compounds are filtered out then while it's in that state we seal it in a bottle. The liquid can't find a hydrogen (acidity) while sealed in the bottle so when it gets consumed it fills the void (the missing hydrogen) and turns back into water. Furthermore, cancer runs in my family. For both reasons, I needed to raise my gastric PH (aka, lower my stomach acids). While antacids work, they do so by introducing a lot of salts and minerals into my system, which stresses my kidneys.Being a nerd, I knew that there must be a better answer.Hydroxide is at the core of every base (I knew my high school chemistry would become useful one day) and thus drinking it could raise my gastric PH (aka weaker stomach acid). This product is hydroxide (OH) in suspension with a very high PH. IF YOU DRINK THIS UNDILUTED, YOU WILL DO SERIOUS INJURY TO YOUR INTESTINAL TRACT!!!However, if you mix a half once (about a cap full) into a tall glass of water, you will get a PH of about 9.5 (the same as store bought alkaline water) for the cost of a few pennies and without any salts or chemicals. Since you only want the solution to react with your stomach acids (not the contents of the cup) you must use mineral free water. I use distilled water which my grocer sells for 99 cents per gallon. For this same reason, you can't add flavoring or anything else...just mineral free water. Also, do not premix this concentrate into the store's gallon container of water, or it will just slowly react with the cheap plastic container.My morning routine is to pour a quick splash of this concentrate into a 12 ounce cup, fill the cup with distilled water (which mixes the solution), and then chug it like a beer. I repeat this before dinner (works best on an empty stomach). My doctor had never heard of this routine/solution before, but can't argue with the results. My ulcer went away within a few weeks. Upon researching, I found studies on alkaline water showed that the benefits weren't necessarily because of the alkaline, but because of the creation of extra hydrogen. The first time i used this, i immediately felt exactly as i had after drinking from hydrogenated water machine. It actually makes you feel high, if you've ever smoked pot, you know what I am talking about. I actually had a friend try it to see if she felt the same way and she did. This goes away after about 30 minutes. But it feels amazing and as if all of your cells are alive. (I basically feel this way my entire drive to work. It does not disable you in any way). I drink as directed, first thing in the morning and i use distilled water. While my coffee is brewing and I am getting ready for work, i force myself to drink the full 32 oz (with the oz of this formula added). That amount is based on 100 pounds of weight. I am about 110-115, but I am not concerned about figuring out the extra miniscule amount to add to match my weight. I like this because it forces me to drink half the amount of water of what i should be drinking daily first thing in the morning.
