It didn't bother me, but the photo of the wrap here showed a slightly darker shade of grey than the one I received, just FYI. It's more of a light heather grey, which I love. The fabric isn't super stretchy, which is good for these kind of wraps in my opinion. It is like slightly heavier than T-shirt fabric but not thick and bulky at all. A simple knit fabric. Wraps like these are definitely better for the cooler days. My two-month-old gets hot pretty quickly up against me here in Las Vegas after only 10 or 15 minutes wearing this wrap. But it's pretty good for quicker shopping trips as we are inside with air-conditioning. If you are looking for a cool summertime wrap for temperatures over 80°, I'd recommend getting a Mei Tai carrier.
