If everthing connected right chechk in order 1)speakers impedance has to match parallel wired plus make sure what is from 8 Ohm - 2 Ohm no less fro this amplifier 2)make sure all four channels match on impedance (it is mean all speakers has to be same on Ohms matched) otherwise amplifier get stressed and hot and will go in protect mode after while 3)you may have connected 4 speakers and 1 subwoofer. AB class amplifier got stressed as too much for it,they designed for 2 speakers and 1 subwoofer ,then you should look for D class multichannel amp 3)your subwoofer may not mach to 4 Ohm or it has three time more RMS power 4)you pulling too much gain -adjust less gain **Q: is there a plug on this for a remote** A: Specify on your question here is three answers what you should know about remotely amplifiers 1) bass remote: is only for D class mono or 2 channel amplifiers, your definite amplifier is 4 channel AB class without bass remote 2) REMOTE TURN ON WIRE is for all kinda amplifiers which is normally blue colour 18 gauge/1.2mm , wired up from your head audio head unit all way to amplifier remote connection,it's turn on circuit when amplifier senses voltage.As soon ignition of the vehicle is turned off -it turns of amplifier. I can guarantee the issue was with the amp, whether its cheap components but not so cheap selling price i have no idea, however i tried another branded amp & it worked perfectly so clearly the issue wasnt with my vehicles wiring, head unit or speakers. Returned for a full refund & wouldnt touch this unknown to myself or anyone else i know brand.
