I would never do it tho.....may loose a finger or two. I assume that you want to do the flip tricks with it. Sorry if I'm wrong. I have 2 bali swords and they are so heavy and they are dangerous to try and flip. **Q: Where can i get replacement screws?, when I went camping two screws fell out** A: Email Gerber for replacement screws. There's a good chance they'll give them to you for free. Blue loctite them in when you get them. **Q: Can you treat it like a butterfly knife, in the sense of tricks and messing around with it? Or is it like a butterfly in just how it closes?** A: No. It has locks you have to press to close it. At two different points. The knife seems incredibly durable, and the safety features are excellent—you'd have to be extremely careless to cut yourself while opening or closing it. The sharpness of the blade is also top-notch, cutting through materials with ease. However, there is one drawback: the latch that holds the two folding handles together is very difficult to operate. While it's undeniably secure, I find it extremely hard to unlatch without using some tool to assist. The amount of pressure needed to press open the lock with your thumb is almost too much, which can be frustrating in the field. One other minor gripe is the stonewash finish. It's not a dealbreaker, but I would have chosen a different model if I had known more about the appearance.
