Much quieter and less rolling resistance. Based on other reviews I cleaned the tire first. There was still some residue from the seam, and as the pressure drops it can leave a line of residue on the trainer but it cleans itself once the pressure is brought back up. Works best at between 100-110psi for me. After about 400km it shows no sign of wear.
