On my car (2015 Honda Fit) it mounted perfect for an air vent phone holder. If it lasts it will have been a great purchase if not it was not expensive. I had a stick on type in my older Jeep and of course they are more stable as they aren't attached to a movable part of the vehicle like a vent is.
