I think they called it fluffy due to the “shag” but it’s very flat and not at all fluffy. There is a foam base it that takes a day to reform after you open the vacuum sealed pack (instructions say up to 2 days but for me, there were no more changes after the first night). It’s very soft and silky to the touch. So silky in fact that you could easily slip when wearing socks and walking over it. Also, the shag is not densely threaded so when you move, or brush the fibers one way or the other, you see the white “base” peering through. All in all poor design and even poorer description. ### ⭐⭐ Nonskid useless. *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2021* Nonskid is worthless, slides all over. And unless you have 4 fat people to stand on all 4 corners, forget about trying to vacuum this even on vac high setting. The rug is black and I have black hairs all over my house that my vacuum has trouble picking up. I didn't buy this to have to shake out everyday, but that's exactly what is needed.
