I wanted to be able to glue pads of silicone rubber on the finger tips for better heat protection and improved grip. I have struggled finding an adhesive that bonds silicone rubber very well. Once dried the rubber just peels right off until I tried this product. The pads I glued to the gloves with this product adhered perfectly. I have to really pry and pull to get any separation. Even then the rubber tears right as it gets to the point of trying to separate. My next move was to buy the $30 Sil-Poxy. There is some debate whether that will adhere well to leather. I guess I will never know because for 1/3 the price this seems to do the trick where the other 5 or 6 attempts with various other adhesives failed.
