Do not Use HDMI, Mini-DisplayPort, or Adapters. It must as said by Acer use the DVI cable provided in the box. **Q: Does this monitor have built in speakers?** A: No. If you run a HDMI for video, it does have a 3.5mm (standard headphone) audio out to connect speakers, but none are built in. **Q: coud ANYBODY confrim IF this is a 3d monitor? are they compatibles with mvidia 3 d?** A: It is. I've had for about 24 hours but when you hook it up an go into the Nvidia control panel you can activate the 3d technology. But you have to have the Nvidia 3d gear, which I assume you do. **Q: I am using this monitor with a ps4, what would i need to do to be able to use the 144 hz refresh rate?** A: Waste of money if you are buying a 144hz for a ps4, a PS4 is limited to 60fps, and most games are locked to 30 fps.
