Mine was delivered broken.** A: I just got mine. It came without the knob and screw for the lid. Amazon wanted me to rebox the whole thing and return it so I could get another one with all the parts. Luckily a knob fit from an old lid. **Q: How deep is the actual pan?** A: It's wide and shallow. I measured it a bit under 2" deep and about 11.5" square. **Q: Bpa free? of course it is. it isn't plastic! the real question is whether or not this is pfoa/ptfe free or is it teflon? very misleading.** A: Not being a chemist or chemical engineer, I am unqualified to comment on these issues.
