It is smooth and gentle on my skin, leaving me refreshed. The original smelled sweet and amazing! So much so I searched everywhere for it. I finally found it here on Amazon and ordered it immediately. To my surprise, when I opened it, it did NOT smell like it is supposed to. The one I received had more of a “citrusy cleaner” smell. Nothing like the original that I got several months ago. But I went ahead and tried it. It is not as smooth and malleable as the original, and didn’t lather the same. So perhaps I got the wrong product in the right packaging? Or the formula changed. One thing is for sure, I am NOT pleased with this purchase. I want the sweet smelling gentle cleanser I got. Big mistake! This product is way off. I've used this facial cleanser before and absolutely loved it, so I was excited to see it on Amazon. What I got was awful, it is too thin. It seemed to be liquid hand soap with a bit of gel and a ton of fragrance. It does not lather correctly, the lather is like hand soap, not like any Kiwi Botanicals facial cleanser that I've ever used. Most importantly, it is burning my skin! I don't know what this is, but it's not the same. I used it 2 more times and realized the itch was an irritation that would get worse with each use. Im not overly oily so I'm wondering if that's why it wasn't going well with my skin 🤔.
