A: I don't think so. It does say it can be adapted. 
The bottom does not look like it can be adapted.

A: Sorry, but only the top part of the camper van can be opened and also the back engine.

My nephew is really into cars, and despite being just 2 I surprised that he'd be okay with the parts of this, under supervision. And I knew he'd mostly love just pushing it around anyway. Straight out of the box I appreciated how deep a red the chassis was, it really adds to the overall product that it's not a half washed out colour that you on see on plastics. It assembled very easily and in no time he was taking the roof off, putting the people in and – most importantly – making engine noises driving it around! The build quality is excellent, with the interior and exterior finished so well. It's a great hit of nostalgia. He loves it and it makes me want the real thing!
