For 12 days straight(See photos), I applied a thin layer 4–5 times a day: after brushing my teeth in the morning, after lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. Now it's almost completely healed, and whenever I feel that familiar itch coming back—usually when I'm tired—I put a tiny bit on and it settles right down. The tube is very small, but you barely need any per use, so it seems like it will last a good while. It doesn’t work instantly, but the steady improvement is undeniable. I definitely recommend it.

**Q: Are you supposed to poke a hole in the tube to open it?**
A: Take the cap off, turn the cap around and use the pointy part to poke a hole in the end of the tube. You only need a very small amount. Replace cap when finished.

**Q: The pump is more expensive.  Is it hard to get all of it out of the tube that seems like a better value?**
A: The tube is far better than the pump! The pump is so wasteful, as there is no way to just use a little bit. One pump worth is far more than you need. The tube lasts at least 10 times as long, as you only need a tiny amount with each application. This stuff sure works though!

**Q: This product has docosanol 10% and doco shield has the same amount, but is a lot cheaper. is there any advantage to abreva?**
A: Really don't know never used coco shield. All I know is abreva works as advertised.

**Q: I did not receive my abreva .. i tried to process a return..  but i do not have anything to return. can you please contact me ?**
A: If it shows delivered, go to returns and say you never got it.

My lips were extremely dry, itchy, and even had small fluid-filled blisters—so yes, it was painful. After asking around and doing some research, I kept hearing about this product—so I gave it a try. whenever I applied this, it felt cooling with a slight sting, and the itchiness calmed down a lot. For 12 days straight(See photos), I applied a thin layer 4–5 times a day: after brushing my teeth in the morning, after lunch, after dinner, and right before bed. Now it's almost completely healed, and whenever I feel that familiar itch coming back—usually when I'm tired—I put a tiny bit on and it settles right down.
