Review: If you have lumbar pain and want to walk around the house this is perfect - This Microwavable heating pad is great. If I want to have heat on my lumbar but I also want to do small chores such as wash the dishes or if I want to lie down on my side this pad works wonderfully. It stays in place and keeps heat for about 45 minutes. It actually keeps heat longer than that but I like the heat to be very warm so 45 minutes is about the amount of time it stays nice an warm for me. It's so soft, is stuffed perfectly making it the perfect for the amount of filling to move to the contours of my body but not so loose that the insides move around and aren't touching my sore area. I've been using these type microwavable pads for several decades now and this brand is my favorite. I highly recommend.

**Q: Comfy, nice velcro, but — is this just a large, expensive disposable/single-use/single-user item, or is there a way to clean/disinfect/sanitize it?**
A: I'm very happy with mine and use it every  and think you can just spray it with Lysol.

A: I like it hot so between 2:00 - 2:22 minutes.  Any longer and it will burn.  Start lower depending on the strength of your microwave.

Only used this three times in two days but I'm really happy with it so far. The product seems to be well made. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The beads inside are contained with stitching so they don't slide around inside. The belt secures well making the use portable if desired. I have given it two minutes in microwave and it seems really hot, but not sure that the heat lasts as long as I'd like. I need to experiment more. Overall very happy with the purchase.
