And then you see your pottery and you're taken back in time to something culturally old, even though the product is new. This adds to the aesthetic of making Japanese tea the traditional way.I made tea in it almost immediately. It was fun and there was something about it all that seemed to maintain a bit of something magical. No magic to it, it does exactly what you expect. I use them everyday. But the teapot drips when pouring water and makes the table messy so I have to put a kitchen towel under it to keep everything clean, guess this is the only thing I dislike.
