I actually have two of these fans they are so great. One pushing air through about 20 feet of ducting and one pulling air through a filter and through 3 light fixtures to keep them cool. This fan has NEVER failed me once and it has gotten dirt, bugs, pollen, leaves....you name it its probably gotten sucked through this thing and it just keeps going and going. Now, I would recommend that if you are pulling air in from an outside source you get yourself a filter instead of going bare like me. Anyways, this fan has been through very humid/rainy days ranging from 15degrees F all the way to 110F. The fan that cools my lights off probably has gotten to 150F and it has no problems going at full speed. These fans are great for coupling with a carbon air filter of similar CFM. You will not be let down by this fan. Also, note that it works great with fan speed controllers to reduce the speed and noise. ### ⭐ 1 year review *by G***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2013* I was pretty happy with this fan. used it for a recirculation system on some duct work from upstairs to downstairs. It's only purpose was to balance out the temps from the upstairs rooms to the downstairs, saved a good bit on HVAC costs at least. I only had it on a run of duct about 20 feet. After a year and a few months. it suddenly started making horrible noises, and vibrations went crazy, air flow almost stopped. The sounds and vibration coming from this could be heard outside the house, and felt in the floor. it wasn't even on 24/7 perhaps only 8-10 hours a day as I had it on a thermal switch. I'll probably replace with a canmax fan as I should have originally spent the few extra bucks on. Probably an OK fan for occasional duct use... not sure what that would even be since most ducting is used 24/7 or majority of the time. Since I fabricated a housing and box for this fan in the attic for the ducting, expecting at least several years of duty... now i get to tear out all the insulation and break the seal on the box and remake it for a better fan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Too Powerful *by N***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2013* This put out so much air it was not funny, I read how many people say to use a squirrel cage fan, well let me tell you that this products drop in cfm vs a squirrel cage fan, is not even comparable, this will out perform them, I know people will not agree with that but, I own one of these and know for a fact, I had to cut off 80 percent just to get the flow low enough.
