I don't like to be outside for even 10 minutes without some form of protection, so I have pretty high standards about what I wear for 8+ hours. After getting sick of slathering on thick sunscreen 5 times a day, I decided to look for some affordable, long sleeve UPF shirts to reduce the need. These shirts fit the bill and then some! I was pleased to see that they have research backing up their UPF claims and over time have acquired 6 of them in various colors (just ordered a 7th, actually!). I wear them 6-7 days a week with my work day including all of the most intense sun of the day, and have never once shown a hint of a burn. They are as cool as one could reasonably expect from a long sleeve shirt, and flattering to boot! As for sizing, I am 5'4", 115 lbs, and usually wear an XS in tops but sized up and got S in these. They have a nice body skimming look to them without being uncomfortably tight, which is exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is that a few of my shirts seem to have mysteriously stained/discolored a bit. I contacted customer service about it and they were kind enough to replace the affected shirts, so I wouldn't knock a star off for it, but I will say that I noticed it happened again on the replacements. It doesn't seem like anyone else has had any issues with this though, so maybe I'm just doing something wrong?tl;dr - protective and comfortable product with a flattering fit, good customer service, and very affordable. I decided to give this shirt a try and I'm glad I did! It is super comfortable and fits well. I think it's a nicer shirt than it appears to be in the pictures (I thought it looked kind of plain in the amazon pics). I am a size 4-6 so I usually buy small shirts, but I listened to the reviews and ordered a medium. It fits perfectly - I am very glad I ordered a size up! Out of the box I thought it looked like it was going to be too big for me, but it fits just right. Yesterday I wore this shirt with pants and a hat (with a ton of sunscreen on my hands and face) and spent time in the sun. I had NO reaction to the sun at all! This shirt kept my sun allergy at bay! I'm so excited, I need to buy this shirt in other colors. They're out of stock in more colors but I'm hoping they will get more in stock soon so that I can buy one in every color! The only "complaint" I have about it is that I need to be careful with which bras I wear with it - every little bump and texture can be seen through the shirt, but that's not a big deal in my opinion. Oh, and this shirt is not immune to cat claws. Be careful around cats because the littlest prick of a claw makes a big snag in the shirt! I very much recommend this shirt for people like me who are allergic to the sun. I have a few thoughts on the sizing. I ordered a large because I don't like tight fitting work-out clothes. I am 5'4", 140 pounds with a c/d bra size. The body fits fine, but the dolman sleeves are a little tight under the armpits. You have to wriggle around to get them just right, and I have to roll up the sleeves about two inches. Those are my only complaints. I don't mind the longer sleeves, but the shirt would be more comfortable if it was a little looser under the arms. Outside in the sun, it works fine.
