I also ruptured my ACL and tore my meniscus several times in my knee in high school. I have been wearing sleeves for quite awhile. I have used TK (Tommy Konos), a Rheband knockoff, and Evolutionize (like strong sleeves or SBDs). These definitely do not offer as much compression or support as the Evolutionize sleeves. Those styles are geared for powerlifting though so give a lot of support and rebound. These sleeves are a little more pliable than the TK's or the Rheeband knockoffs but are very solid overall. The fit is great (order a size smaller than measured, I was at top end of medium/into large and went with medium). These sleeves go on much easier that TK's because of the inner material and the compression is great. I have only been using them for 3 months, 2 workouts a week (I have a lot of sleeves so not every workout for me) but they still fit well and the move minimal amounts during strength training or metcons (rowing, wall ball, box jumps, running). If you are looking for the support of SBD or wraps then go with something else. If you just want a solid sleeve with great compression, little support, and great fit/placement then go with this.
