Review: The Slinky isn't a slinky. Its just a bit of curved flat metal. It does not work at all.
Review: We are as happy as we can be (with the new versions) with this Slinky. Read all the other reviews on all sizes, and this one is the closest to the original one we had as kids. (Not exactly GIANT, probably closer to the original). It will walk down stairs with some encouragement...not as easily as the ones from 50 years ago, but from my research, it appears as tho the length was shortened some years ago making the "walk" on normal stairs less successful. The kids are happy, so we are happy.

We are as happy as we can be (with the new versions) with this Slinky. Read all the other reviews on all sizes, and this one is the closest to the original one we had as kids. (Not exactly GIANT, probably closer to the original). It will walk down stairs with some encouragement...not as easily as the ones from 50 years ago, but from my research, it appears as tho the length was shortened some years ago making the "walk" on normal stairs less successful.
