The wrist support provides enough protection and still gives you a good range of motion for doing pushups, mountain climbers, burpees, and manmakers without any discomfort. I was concerned that the wrist strap would almost cover my Apple Watch. But I haven't run into any issues yet. These are worth the extra money over the "other" brands because of everything I listed above. The last pair lasted 7 years and could probably last for another 1-2 if I didn’t get this new pair for Christmas. They take a couple workouts to stretch out so the initial fit is a little snug. Wrist wraps are great. Very durable even with aggressive grip bars. The gel pads are great, not too thin, not too thick. Getting them off with the finger fins is great too.
