Extremely bright, this taillight demands attention and will be visible from great distances thanks to its impressive 60 lumens of red light.it senses motion. This light knows when you are moving and when you are not. It will automatically change from a stroking mode while moving to a brighter solid beam when you stop. Even if you are in the low or high solid beam mode, when stopped, the light will turn to 100 percent brightness to make you more visible, similar to the manner in which car taillights go from a low intensity to a much brighter mode when braking or stopped. In order to conserve battery power, the light will automatically turn off after five minutes if it senses there has been no movement. This light is so bright that virtually the entire light casing will glow red from the intensity of the super-bright led strip. The solar flare gets its power from an internal, usb rechargeable battery that will last from 2.5 - 11.5 hours per charge depending on the modes used.
