I bring my lunch to work and need a little container for my drink. I didn't want one with a straw or with the caps that are attached to the lid (they always seem to get in my face when I'm drinking). This is the perfect sized opening to drink from without spilling (even for kids) and the cap is very easy to remove (does not leak at all). The only concern would be if you're hand washing, since the opening is rather small and I'm not sure what you'd be able to get inside to clean. They work well in the dishwasher but probably the easiest way to clean is just add a drop or two of dishwashing detergent and fill about 1/3 full with water and shake it around a bit. Should get as clean as it would in a dishwasher. I can't find any negatives for these at all.
