They are excellent & well made of Stainless Steel so they don't rust or corrode. They could be used for many scenarios where straps are used outside in the weather elements. Review: I am so pleased with these clip buckles. Our bimini straps came with plastic push down ones, which were easy to adjust. One broke and all the new straps seem to have a bar type adjust (slow & difficult) SO I went on a search and found these. Sewed them onto the straps and we're good to go. They're stainless steel so hopefully will hold up better than plastic. Push to release strap. And the grip seems so tight (needed on a bimini top).
