I thought crayons were crayons, but uh- nope. The dollar store crayons break into tiny bits so quickly that I ended up buying more and more, and having a bucket full of tiny little pieces. Little people are tough on crayons, and crayola crayons are simply better and last longer. The colors are brighter, the wax is smoother for coloring, and they don’t snap into teeny little pieces with the slightest amount of pressure.
