I read how important It was even before getting pregnant to take a prenatal vitamin with a good dose of Folic Acid and so I did some research. These Avasia Prenatals have 800mcg, twice what is recommended. I’m not very good at remembering to taking tablets, so I was looking for something I could take once a day to cut down the risk of forgetting. When I received them I saw the NEON PINK and was pretty disturbed. We all know that artificial colors are not good for our bodies. This product has the following ingredients to make the pink coating on the capsule: POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, TITANIUM DIOXIDE, POLYETHEYLENE GLYCOL/MACROGOL, TALC, ERYTHROSINE ALUMINUM LAKE. I happen to know that titanium dioxide is the same ingredient used in paints to make them white. These chemicals are not good for us and ESPECIALLY not good for our babies.
