By this I mean start off walking short distances. And if you experience any pain, walk a little less but you must walk! continue this pattern until your comfortable, and when you get to the point where you can jog a short distance go for it!! Honestly I started off riding my bike for about a month cause I wanted to stay off my heal it hurt so bad. Then I started walking about 3 miles a day. When I felt better I upped the stakes and walked another 3 miles. This process took about (for me) four to five months. And soon I started jogging but like I said a “short distance”. Increase your running regiment when your comfortable. I walk six miles Monday Thur Friday And jog a little under a mile for now. But, I can truely say these “Heel that pain seat inserts” works!! I couldn’t do none of this in May “I kid you not”!! The key is don’t rush the healing process. But keep moving 🚶🏻‍♀️if that makes any sense 😉. Keep them in your shoes as much as possible. XL Firm, two in the original black and two in the newer blue. I use them in my normal daily shoes and boots as well as hiking boots. Coupled with pretty regular inside use of Birks they have pretty much arrested and eliminated the plantar fasciitis I was developing in my late 40s. Are they the best? I'm sure some more expensive and/or custom solutions, particularly full insoles, are better, but those are two to maybe 10 times the price. Basically these are one of the better bangs for your buck and the real deal. I noticed some mixed comments but with foot things that's to be expected. You basically have to try them out. Everybody's feet, gait, and weight are different. The only downside I found is because they are fairly grippy rubber. They wear out the heels of my socks faster.
