The fact that he recommended these cables to me because (and I quote) 'they make great products at great prices' tells only part of the story. The fact is that you'd be VERY hard pressed to find better or higher quality studio cables at ANY price.I'm using these cables to connect a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 DI (Digital Interface) to a pair of JBL LSR305 studio monitors in my 'home studio,' which is still under construction but is nearing completion. These cables work flawlessly, they're DEAD SILENT (meaning they don't pick up ANY noise) and are of EXTREMELY high quality. I haven't purchased the studio subwoofer yet (from Monoprice) that I plan on getting, but when I do, I'll also be purchasing more Monoprice XLR cables to complete the connections to the mains.There isn't a whole lot to say about high quality (studio) cables, other than the only thing that REALLY matters; they are totally transparent, which is exactly what high quality cables are all about. If you can't tell they're there, they're doing exactly what they were designed to do.
