There is some fatty oils that settle in the food, but that’s to be expected since it’s MEAT. I don’t know why people complain about that. Fatty oils from meat settle in human food all the time, yet we still eat it. Just mix it up properly. I conserve the quality of the food by sealing it in a tubberware. I find that my dog enjoys it more when I take out a serving, let it get to room temperature, then mix it in with his dry food versus serving it cold, right out of the refrigerator. Hope this helps.
