I purchased it because I liked the idea that they would reduce static and decrease drying time, without having chemicals. They have increased static- I never noticed static at all while using dryer sheets, and they do not reduce drying time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They Really Work *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2019* These Alpaca Dryer Balls were recommended by a friend and I was skeptical but wanted to stop using dryer sheets because of the waste, so I tried them and was pleasantly surprised. Great at eliminating static and clothes are soft and do not smell like wool or anything. I use all 3 in a load. They are a bit loud in the dryer but I keep the laundry room door closed and not a problem. They do seem to shorten drying time, although I haven't timed it, but haven't noticed that they reduce wrinkles. That seems to be the same. I have been using them for several months and they are great! I have grandkids that are allergic to scents and so I was using Downey "free". It kept clogging up the screen on my dryer, so I needed something that would be hypoallergenic and still soften clothes. We stayed at a friends home on our vacation for a few days and she had them. It tried it and they worked! The clothes are soft, come out virtually wrinkle free, they don't clog up your lint screen on your drier and they are hypoallergenic.
