The look is nice, with the red on black. However, these are supposed to be anodized and not painted. Whenever the locking mechanism is handled, my fingers would end up with black stains on them. I tried wiping away all of the black - see attached picture. I am not sure if that is a dye, a chemical reaction, oxidation, or what. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rugged / Sturdy / Look Great *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2019* I was really just looking for simple carabiner type clips (typically 2.5 inch that you get at conferences with company logo's on them, etc) to secure my ball cap / keys / etc. to my backpack when I travel for work. Thought they looked cool (which they do by the way!). They match my OGIO work backpack (Black with Red highlights), so that looks cool. I was surprised at what I received. Probably because I didn't read the entire description! These are quite large and truly meant for climbing. I'm a "large guy" and these take up the entire palm of my hand. They're a good 4" long and according to the packaging, support hundreds of lbs of weight, which I'll NEVER use; but it looks cool. Overkill for my needs, but they look cool! The twist lock feature works great. There's NO CHANCE anything clipped into these will get lost while I travel.
