Chili Willy Hot Sauce from Belize 10 0z bottle

I'm not a heat fanatic, in fact I have very low heat tolerance. Yet I love spicy food, and love for it to be as hot as I can comfortably stand. And that's why I love Chili Willy: I can dial in drop by drop exactly the amount of heat I want without any bitterness. Also, there is something about Habanero: it's s stealthy heat and sneaks up on you building as you eat. Chili Willy is made from 100% Red West Indian Habanero, and is imported from Belize, a place that needs all the industry it can muster.

A little expensive but so worth it. If you like the "lip burning" sensation of spicy sauce you will LOVE Chili Willy's. Its habanero hot sauce, so not like Tabasco or even Tapatio hot sauce, definitely a flavor all on its own.

My favorite hot sauce. It is sweet and hot, just like my sweetie. I first found my love at the Miami International Airport at LaCarreta, a Cuban restaurant in the D (American) terminal. I fell in love. The sauce, not my sweetie. Anyway, there are a lot of choices in hot sauce, and I don't like a science project, like the sauces with fire or explosions or poison markings on the bottle. I just like good Habanero sauce that's sweet and hot.

Perfect heat. Not overly vinegary, smoky, or tangy. Enough to make your head sweat and go through a couple glasses of water

Not the same recipe as the older bottles I have... :(The 'original' recipe has a slight smokiness to it- that this new batch lacks.So sad.

I am a guy who eats hot sauce by the spoonful. Drinks it, essentially. I've been this since I was young. I'm am a guy who has a salsa-of-the-month club membership and I get samples mailed to me quarterly. In short, I have a lot of hot sauce experience. Well, I just finished my first 10 oz bottle of this stuff and I can say with absolute certainty that it is, to the very last drop, the best hot sauce I've ever had. For one thing, it is actually quite spicy by my standards which is quite a rare find among bottled, vinegar-based hot sauces. This is obviously a result of being habanero-based, but it doesn't have the expected "habanero" taste. The flavor is delicious but not overspiced; the peppers do the talking. It pairs marvellously with all mexican/cuban cuisine and certainly many others without overwhelming the palate. It's got a great, full body; not watery at all, indeed rather thick/hearty. Everything about this hot sauce was perfect; I will definitely be ordering more soon.
