I have a 2015 Yamaha Grizzly 700 Special Edition** A: well it does not really remove but if you clean area first it will hide the scratch by restoring to black--it is really best on plastic like my fenders of my jeep which are not painted but just plastic **Q: does it hurt the paint or do you just wipe it off?** A: no it will not hurt the paint from what i have seen from my black truck. i was doing the mirrors and the door handles came of with micro fiber cloth. **Q: does the product work on dark brown or the plastic/vynil have to be black?** A: It works on plastic trim of any color.
