A maker such as McDermitt does include a warranty but you will pay for it. **Q: what's the wieght of this cue** A: 18 oz. with a weight that screws on at that butt of the cue which would make it around a 21. **Q: Does it have aoft leather tip?** A: I would classify it as a medium tip. **Q: Does it come as ready to play or do we have to change the tip?** A: The cue comes with a leather tip installed.
