All the excellent reviews I read for these while researching seem to be true. They are light-weight, comfortable in my hands, and the jaws align perfectly. With a light squeeze, there is a small gap between the jaws, but with a little more pressure that gap disappears and the pliers close tightly and seal shut. I will be putting these through a big stress test in a couple of weeks when I use them to run trotlines for big catfish. I will report back if there are any problems, but for now I'm 100% satisfied.
