Before replacing, I tried nutone customer service and got the cold shoulder. I looked into the part cost if I tried it without their help and found that replacing with a new OVO system would cost me about the same as replacing a couple suspect parts on the nutone.The unit arrived very well packaged in two days. I don't think even the mail system could damage it with how well it was packaged.Installation took me about 1 1/2 hours. I had to move the piping since the old unit had input on the side and the OVO has the input on the top but that is relatively easy. Directions provided were clear though they were not really even needed due to how simple it is.First impressions were very good using the vac. The suction is much, much better than my old system.However, I did find that the system would stop after running for awhile and start back up on it's own. I got ahold of OVO customer service on a Friday night. Amazingly, they responded right away. After talking with them we determined that the issue was in the low voltage. We checked the unit and found no issues. We found the issue in my old nutone hose. Resistance was high in the slip ring for the low voltage. I cleaned and adjusted the slip ring and now it works perfectly. The on/off circuit in the OVO must be more sensitive than the nutone. OVO customer service followed up, even on a Saturday.I highly recommend this product and company.
