**Q: What is the exact inside diameter of the ring?**
A: Roughly 1 and 1/2 inches, any  police baton will easily fit although you may need to have a sto of some kind for a thin wood baton. I just weaved a "Turks head onto my baton and it works quite well.

**Q: What is inside diameter of ring for nightstick?**
A: Im not sure of the diameter, but it fits my straight stick.

**Q: Is the ring 100% solid or does it have an opening so that solid rings can be connected to it? (I'm not using this for a baton)**
A: It is a solid ring.
