Though do be aware that the lacy will not lay totally smooth on your skin so if you are wearing something tight/stretchy it will "show", in which case the slinky is a better option and disappears under practically anything - they also don't create static the way the lacy one's can if the dress is particularly clingy. The lacy are better for things that are looser and flow off the body more. Two hints for how to wear them: 1. make sure the seam is either on the outside of your thigh or at least around the back so it isn't visible under clothes when you sit or if the item is snug, 2. Pull the Bandlette all the way up as high as you can wear it so that the inside sits in the crease of your leg, and the back is just under your "cheek", I find pulling it up just a tad higher on the outside of my thigh also helps keep it in place. I wore these all day wandering around Paris and London this summer in the ridiculous heat and they saved my legs and didn't budge at all. They are machine washable, I just throw them in my delicates bag with my bras and let them air dry. Whoever developed these is a saint! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plain Great, lace kinda ok *by R***X on August 11, 2016* I got both a lace pair and a non lace pair. The lace one don't go as far down as the non lace ones which is why i think they are so hard to find a somewhat comfortable spot. They don't cover all of our thigh/all of where is rubs. If you pull them down so the seams don't rub then the top of your thigh is exposed, if you pull them up then the bottoms come unaligned and can rub uncomfortably. This may tempt you to try and use something else with it, but DON'T, it just makes the adhisve less stickyI say if you are going to wear them, you should probably be doing it for fashion or under shorts to make them longer, or if your thighs don't rub a lot anyway. One the plus side, they were well made and fit around my leg perfectly. Lacy ones i give 2.5-3 stars The non lacy ones i loved. They where thin and silky, but not so thin to not do their job, they went further down my leg than the lace ones, so no uncomfortable rubbing at the bottom and no exposed top. I wore them in 118 degree weather and was fine (well my thighs were, the rest of me not so much). They were a wider than the lace ones even though I ordered the exact same size from the exact same company so they where pretty loose, also a size to big. They are easy to take in though if you know how so thats cool, better to order too big than too small. Also after wearing them a few (3) days in a row the adhesive didn't stick as well, that mixed with being too big made the actually slide down my leg. I haven't worn them since i washed them but the adhesive does feel sticker so we'll see. I give the non lacy ones a solid 4. TL,DR Lacy: Sizing: good Length down thigh: too short Tips: only wear to lengthen shorts or if you don't have very much rub to begin with Overall score: 3 Non lacy: Sizing: a size too big, but easy to take in yourself Length down thigh: much better about 1 1/2 inches longer, completely covers area that rubs Tips: Order a size down. DON'T use other anti-chaffing stuff with it (baby powder, deodorant, etc) it interferes with the adhesive.
