Review: The phone works perfectly, and I'm returning it - The bottom line on the product itself is that it works just fine. It was in "new" condition. Everything worked as it should. It took a while, but it automatically updated itself to Android 15 and One UI 7.0. But I'm returning it. Why? Because I'm 158 years old and I don't like many of the changes they've implemented. They've moved the volume buttons from the left to the right side. They've combined the bixby with the side key (the unlock key). Don't know what this has accomplished. Google assistant (with the gemini conversion) now requires you to tap the mic icon rather than just listening to you automatically. There's a new (to me) feature called Circle to Search which is a bit annoying. You can disable it, but that completely disables the home button (and google assistant). The video of my beloved dog that was on my lock screen doesn't work and this is a reported issue. The battery charge indicator on the top of the screen is now superimposed over a partial battery icon, making it difficult to read. (Excuse me for not having 15-year-old eyes.) A couple of my favorite apps no longer work. There are several apps that I haven't yet tried and I have to wonder how many will work. Due to all this, I've decided to return this phone and pay someone to replace the battery on my old one.

Looking for an answer, I found that I could use an eSIM setup to get around that which got my service on the new device. I'm not sure why the phone didn't recognize the SIM. The phone appears to be working fine so far. If anything drastically changes I'll update this review.

### ⭐ Absolute JUNK!! BUYERS BEWARE

I bought this in October 2023. I got it, turned it on and did the setup. I turned it off and put it in my safe. Today is April 8th 2024. I took my phone out of the safe and turned it on. It loaded the main screen of the phone and then the screen went bright white.. You couldn't see ANYTHING!! Ive tried everything to get this phone working. The cellular gallery Inc is who the phone came from. They flat out refuse to do ANYTHING to replace the $290 I paid for the phone. I have fought for weeks with Amazon and this company. I googled this company and there are THOUSANDS of reviews that this company sells junk broke down phones that don't work past 90 days. I never thought about my return deadline date since the phone worked at arrival and it was in my safe untouched since October 2023. These people sold me a POS phone and neither them nor Amazon want to make it right. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL REGRET IT!! Take your money and go to eBay!! Atleast if you get something off there that is below customer satisfaction eBay steps in and does the refund themselves.. Amazon holds no accountability or responsibility when it comes to ANYTHING that is sold by ANYONE but themselves.. So make sure you do a complete Google search for the buyer before you purchase ANYTHING off Amazon..
