Tuning is the “key”... however you didn’t mention how deep your bass kick was or size of diameter. **Q: does this come with the pedal?** A: The headline is for Bass drum "head". Sorry no pedal included. It is a great "head" or skin for bass drum. Sound quality enhance the "boom" of the bass drum. **Q: Is this a batter head only? Do you make a resonate head?** A: I will say this. I have a Evans 360 white coated G1 series snare head [resonate} and I know drummers have used that kind on all other drums, sounds really good. P.S. It is a darker tone head. **Q: Can this drum head fit in a suitcase?
