That was enough until our toddler son got tall enough to reach inside the drawers. We were almost out of the screw in type so I decided to get these. They are installed using 3m adhesive strips. I thought that would be so much easier than trying to drill holes in the edges of the drawer frames. There is actually nothing on this packaging that says these can be used on drawers but thought I would try it anyway. They installed in a couple minutes. I can still open the drawer about 1/2 and inch or so. I couldn't back the latch up any farther because the wood frame of the drawer is a pretty narrow strip of wood. They also have the tab that you can flip so it remains unlocked if you don't want it locked. So far, so good. He hasn't managed to open any of the drawers so far. I'll update this if that changes. He is getting stronger and taller. But so far I am quite happy. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Great concept. I install it in my bathroom cabinets and it work as it suppose to work. Con: It was kinda hard trying to determine if its leavel with the two pieces so it can lock and open. In some cases it wasn't leavel rigth and I had to take it off and try again also the rest off the kit I didn't use I try to install in my dresser and it didn't want to fit or work . I guess the cabinet is differently made or whatever the case is but I try for up to 45 min and it just didn't want to fit or work or hold.at the end the one I was using stop sticking I guess of so much trying and now its use less.
