The point is they're quality spoons. These spoons are longer and thicker than the old spoons they're replacing. The handles broke on the old spoons. The new spoons are stronger and the wood is of a higher quality with a fairly good finish on them. I didn't think there would be much difference in wooden spoons but these spoons have proven me wrong.
