And in the past after about a month the vinyl became brittle and would split. Also, with these other protectors the zipper was flimsy and would tear while I was putting the protector on. That did not happen with this product. Now, I am new to buying this product and so I can't say for sure that this will not happen but this is my experience so far. I will send updates. My only problem with this company is that they don't make heavy-duty vinyl pillow covers. I would buy them for sure.

Heavy duty and fits well on a queen mattress. It is comfortable, waterproof, and slip resistant. We have a mattress pad over it and it’s not too bulky or noisy.
