It seems to charge fairly quickly and lasts longer when vacuuming than the original battery. Fitting it is easy enough, just a matter of undoing two screws. Unfortunately the battery suddenly stopped charging. It turns out the charger socket had got pushed back into the battery case and no longer makes proper contact with the plug. This never happened in many years of use of the original battery. Update: after fixing the displaced socket problem, this battery lasted about 4 years before needing replacement.
