Once every couple weeks, I do like to go through and wash with a semi-conventional/semi-natural shampoo just to clarify things a little. I will also say - when I received these bottles (I got the 1oz travel/tester size), I was shocked at how small they were, and imagined they'd only last for a few washes. However, it's now been 2 months of consistent use (a couple squirts once or twice a week), and I'm only halfway through the bottle. That's right. That's a quarter of an ounce per month. This stuff is outrageously expensive, but if you go through it as slowly as I do, it actually works out to be much more affordable. If you're considering this stuff, try it!! I highly recommend!
