Awesome bike
This is a great bike. I purchased two, one for a 6 year old, and one for an 8 year old. The size descriptions were spot on as it relates to the height of the child. This bike is just barely too big for my six year old who is about 44 inches tall. He's on his tip toes, but is experienced enough with bikes that he doesn't have any issues riding it. The 8 year old is on the top end of the size chart and this bike fits like a glove.Installation was a breeze, all you do is attach the handle bars, pedals, reflectors, and front wheel and you're riding. All the tools needed for installation came with the bike with the exception of a Phillips head screw driver for reflector installation (who doesn't have one of those anyways?).If it's so great, why 4 stars? Well, more of what other reviews have said. Getting into first or second gear is a bit tough for a kiddo. Not impossible, but I feel like those gears will be used very seldomly just because of the shifting effort required.Second issue, as others have noted as well. The front brakes were massively out of alignment on both bikes. One was clearly scraping, but still ride-able. The other, the front wheel barely moved. You'll read the instructions and think this is easy, it's one screw to adjust the piston, but you'll quickly find out the piston is already fully adjusted and that's not the issue...This fix can be intimidating given the number of allen screws on the front brakes, but it's actually a SUPER simple fix. There are two allen screws that point towards the rear of the bike on the brake assembly, loosen these (don't remove them, just a half turn should loosen them enough). Once loose the brake assembly will move left/right freely. Spin the wheel and slowly move the assembly until it moves freely. Then tighten the screws. This may take some trial/error, but you'll have no brake scraping at all.Make sure you test the front brakes as that process can make the brake calipers a bit loose. Follow the instructions to tighten down the piston on the brake a bit, or remove some slack from the brake cable. Test the brakes until you get the desired stopping power. Since these are kids bikes I left the front brakes slightly looser than the rear intentionally. Don't want them panic braking and going head over heels.I do recommend the bike, just be prepared to do some adjusting. It's not a big deal.

Great buy!
Bought this bike for my grandson (11 years old) and feel that it is a really well made bike for the money. I didn't have any problems assembling the bike, the instructions are fairly well written. I did have a problem with the front disc brake dragging and had to go online to find how to make an adjustment for this. The front brake is not a strong as the rear disc brake, this may require additional adjustment, but I prefer that it not be as strong (because if you just grab the front brake accidentally, a strong front brake only will throw you over the handle bars.). One thing to consider is that it is a very heavy bike for its size and may be too much for a younger child. Also, keep in mind that due to its weight and wide tires this isn't a fast bike, but it will outperform a standard bike offload.

Bike was damaged on arrival
Returning it was a hassle - since the original box was so mangled i had to create a frankenbox. It's interesting explaining to a 6 year old on christmas morning "here's your bike...but it's broken and it's sold out and you probably won't get the same one when I do find you another." If it arrived in one piece I imagine it would've been nice - that said it is MUCH larger than the other 20" bike I have...suitable for more like 8, 9, 10 year olds.

This is a great bike! Finishing the rest of the assembly is so easy!

Misleading info
This bike is very nice, excellent product. My issue is the fact that Fat Tire bikes are typically known to have 4'' rims with the 4.0 x 20'' tire. This has the 4.0 tire, but rims are 3''. I was wanting the 4'' rim like every other Fat Bike tire bike made. Keeping the bike for my son, but dissapointed in the advertised item as "Fat Bike"

High quality and well-built
Great bike..very well made. My 7yr old loves his new fat tire bike. High quality bike, worth the money. Your not going to fund this at Wal-Mart, as you shouldn't. My son is just big enough to handle the size now(with the seat all the way down) and will be able to continue to grow with it for several years. This bike should last with no problem at all.

Heavy, slow, poorly packaged
This bike it really heavy … too heavy for the age and size child it designed for. It does look cool but the quality is not equivalent to any respectable mountain bike company. Also the one I received was open on one end… it looked good so I put it together but it was bent quite badly so that the tires were noticeably miss aligned vertically. I did my best to straighten it. Good point … it’s so sluggish your kid will have trouble getting up to dangerous speeds.

Bad quality control / no byer responce
The front tire didn't fit properly, the disk breaks did not aline and the fork was bent back slitly, First I thought it was a design, but it gradually over 2 weeks bent further. Try to contact seller/manufacturer but no responce. Returned the bike waiting for Refund...
